Information is "judged" by what the "spiders" found and put in an index. A user will type in a word, phrase or sentence to find something on the internet. Sites are listed in order of relevancy to the keywords typed into the search box. You need to have keywords and relevant text on your pages for the search terms with which you believe people will use to find you. Are you getting the visitors to your site you want from search engines? If not, maybe your site needs to be cleaned or just have your keywords made more relevant. Realize the search engines change how they rank a page constantly. What worked 6 months ago to get a 5th place ranking, may not work today. Remember, too, competitive new sites are being developed constantly. Fresh content is important and keeps the search engines coming back to your site.
